We’re just going to jump into this this week…

First off, though it’s not a cover, I thought this was noteworthy. Apparently, To Eleven favorite Asshole Julia Nunes is touring with indie rocker Ben Kweller. They’ve made a video to commemorate this. Watch the video. love the video.

Next up is John Dalton covering Nick Drake’s “Things Behind the Sun.” I don’t know about this song in particular, but Drake’s songs are notoriously hard to play because of their weird, non-standard tunings. This sounds pretty dead on.

And here’s a pretty awesome cover of the Ventures’ “Walk, Don’t Run” by Tom Kranen. I’ve been listening to a lot of instrumental surf rock recently, so this seems fitting. The Ventures rule.

And finally, we have Tom Andrews and Richard Dunn doing the Bill Withers classic “Ain’t No Sunshine.” I’d probably rank that song in my top fifty songs of all time, and this cover gets the thing done.
