Any Asshole with a Holiday Song by jason

There are a couple of holidays this week, so it’s no surprise that there are a lot of Assholes posting videos of themselves doing Christmas songs. And yeah, I know there are other holidays this week besides Christmas. I celebrated one this week. Jayson celebrated another one. But most of these are Christmas songs because that’s what the kids are doing.

This first one is by Julia Nunes. Ahhhhhhhh….Julia. I was hoping she would do one this week, and she delivered with her (and Ian Axel’s) rendition of “What’s This?” from The Nightmare Before Christmas. I personally feel the movie is overrated, and that Tim Burton needs to stop already, but hey, I’m just this guy, you know? This version of the song is great, though.

Secondly, here’s Pomplamoose with “Deck the Halls.” I like these guys not just because Nataly is cute. I mean, that is one reason, but not the only one. I also like them because they prove my original point of the Any Asshole posts…you know, that the great thing about the Internet, and things like YouTube specifically, is that people who normally wouldn’t get an audience do so. And, in their case, they parlayed internet fame to a commercial deal with Hyundai, which means they got to be in a commercial that had a voice over by Jeff Bridges. That’s what’s up.

Here’s Look at the Fields doing their original song, “There’s No Business Like Snow Business.” You might remember these guys with their awesome cover of “Empire State of Mind,” or for the song made up of YouTube comments that we posted on out Facebook page. What? You don’t follow To Eleven’s Facebook page? Well, go do that, then come back. Actually, click play, leave this running in a tab, and listen to the damn song while you do it.

And finally, and I’m not sure if these guys count as Assholes because while the internet is a tool they use, I think they are more famous for their live shows, here’s Andrew Vladeck with Balthrop, Alabama singing “Happy Chrisma-Hanna-Kwanza-Rama-Krishna.” You can go to the End-Up Records website and get the album this is from HERE.

Happy holidays from To Eleven! Come back next week for more Assholes!
